Dolor Fragmentado explores the way pain can divide our sense of self while remaining deeply embedded within us. The original miniature painting is viewed through a faceted clear quartz, breaking and shifting the image as the piece moves. The stone becomes both a window and a barrier, reflecting how difficult experiences can alter our perception while still allowing moments of clarity to emerge.
