A love so luminous that even the heavens grew jealous.

Inspired by the haunting poem Annabel Lee, this piece reflects one of Poe’s most tragic visions of love,  a bond so pure and powerful that even celestial beings could not bear its existence.

In the poem, the narrator believes that the winged angels of heaven grew envious of the deep love he shared with Annabel Lee. From the cold clouds above, they send a chilling wind that takes her life, transforming love into memory and devotion into eternal mourning.

Whether the angels represent fate, illness, or the narrator’s desperate attempt to explain an unbearable loss, the story reveals a love that refuses to fade  a love that even death cannot sever.

At the center of the piece, a faceted clear quartz stone reveals a miniature hand painted artwork created by artist Admin Torres, transforming the jewel into a small framed world preserved beneath crystal.

The surrounding metalwork was handcrafted in oxidized sterling silver, giving the piece an aged and atmospheric character that echoes the dark romanticism found throughout Poe’s literature.
