POE'S HEIRLOOMS

Poe’s Heirlooms is a collaborative collection between UNEVEN Jewelry and artist Admin Torres, inspired by the literary world of Edgar Allan Poe.


The series brings together fourteen one of a kind pieces where jewelry and miniature painting converge. Each work begins with a hand fabricated structure in oxidized sterling silver, designed as a frame for a carefully painted scene created on stone. Beneath a faceted crystal, these small images become windows into the dark emotional landscape that defines Poe’s writing.


The pieces explore themes that recur throughout his literature: love that survives death, memory that refuses to disappear, guilt, temptation, melancholy, and the inevitable passage of time.


Each jewel functions as a contemporary relic, not only containing an image, but also an emotion. A fragment of Poe’s poetic universe translated into an object.


The collaboration emerges from the meeting of two artistic practices. While Stephanie Cruz, founder of UNEVEN Jewelry, develops the metal structures and architectural framework of each piece, Admin Torres creates the miniature hand-painted scenes that inhabit them. The result is a series of singular works where painting and metal come together to form a shared visual narrative.


Poe’s Heirlooms is not simply a jewelry collection, but an exploration of how literature can transform into object, and how stories can continue to exist through what we choose to wear.


Each piece exists as a unique work.
